The Ripple Effect

Before After Baan Choomsang had an enormous, dirty and unusable lake within the grounds. The school could not afford to tend to the lake and over the years it had become polluted and unusable. The project the school requested was to revitalize the lake and create a fish farm.

The fish from the farm is given to students for lunch as well as sold at the local market. The project has given trade skills and business skills to students as well as improving the healthy eating of the students. Furthermore, money made from the sale of the fish goes back into school projects to continue the sustainability of their programs.
