Cham Ni School
Cham Ni is a school for kindergarten, primary and secondary aged children.
The school has approximately 560 students across all the levels, most of which come from severely poor circumstances. The school tells us that a large number of students live with relatives because parents have had to move away to find work in Bangkok or the coastal cities.
Baan Cham Ni School requested and received the funding for a vegetable garden for their school. The students are responsible for both building the garden and researching what they grow in it.
Other sustainable projects include providing weaving looms to students who learn a vocational skill and sell the fabric they make in the community, thus generating income for the school.
