Education projects

Children being taught by The Ripple Effect
The schools that we work with have very limited educational resources, and their existing equipment is often in disrepair or obsolete. Very few schools have enough books for their students and almost no schools have computer access.

With the assistance of various Melbourne Rotary clubs, we have been able to organise generous donations of both computers and books in both English and Thai for school libraries.

The Ripple Effect often receives generous offers of donations of books and computers to send to Thailand. Unfortunately we are unable to accept those donations because of complexities involved in shipping.

To meet the demand for these resources, we raise funds for educational resources and are assisted by the Community Building in Rural Development (CBIRD), who transfer money from Australia to the schools and act as an intermediary between the schools and young people running the project.
