The Ripple Effect

The Ripple Effect grew out of a student-run group called The Banana Project, which initially only accepted Melbourne University International House students as members. After expanding to take on more students outside of the college, the project grew more money was raised and a wider network of contacts established. Some of the students formed The Ripple Effect so that a wider range of young people could work on the numerous rural development projects in Thailand.
