Teddy project

This year The Ripple Effect team have embarked on a new fundraising
initiative in addition to its numerous other projects. We are aiming to
raise enough funds to buy every primary age student in Suksasongkroh
School a teddy bear.
The bedrooms of children in developed countries are olourful and
adorned with cartoon characters, toys, books and art supplies. In stark
contrast, 48 3-6 year-old Thai orphans sleep in a large dormitory with
24 bunk beds, each with a single brown blanket with a matching pillow.
Termites have destroyed much of the structure and the roof has fallen
into disrepair. The walls are unpainted and unadorned, there are no
rugs or carpet on the floor, and no toys, photos or personal
belongings.
Suksasongkroh Nang Rong School and Orphanage in Thailand is home to
over 800 disadvantaged children from ages 3-18 years old. The teachers
at the school do an outstanding job of caring for their students, but
funding is limited and items such as toys are a luxury that these
children do not enjoy.
Give generously
We have found a company that will supply us with beautiful bears for $6 each. Any donation would be gratefully received.
